For the last 8 years, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity at the University of Washington has put on their Red Square Charity Car Show, which benefits PAWS, a group whose goal is
"rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people."
The show takes place at Red Square and the entire place is filled with cars for this event!
The event takes place with people's cars from around Seattle and Washington to come to this event.
A lot of the cars were new, but there were some old classics there too.
With that, there's a ton of variety and probably every brand of luxury/sports car you can imagine.
A lot of the cars had their hoods popped open so you could see their massive engines in the cars. The Lamborghini engine was my favorite because it was brightly colored, which was a unique touch.
I loved trying to capture the cars in a slightly different way from one another. Some of the cars had amazingly sleek body styles and you could just tell how fast and powerful they were from their design.
I really loved shooting the backs of the cars and capturing the cool different tail lights and rear design.
About halfway through while I was there. I heard a buzzing in the sky. I looked up and saw some kind of DJI Phantom, which is a quadcopter equipped with a camera for video and photo capture. I couldn't help but think how cool it would be to capture the cars from above, but it also scared me to think about flying it and accidentally crashing it onto one of these very expensive cars!

Notice the quadcopter up in the right corner of the photo flying right above the cars. |
Doesn't this make you want to have a couple of these cars to drive around on a nice sunny day?
