When we got there, it was amazing to see just how many tulips there were! Literally acres!!
The tulips were so vibrantly colored and there was so much variety in all of the tulips. It was crazy muddy, but this made it so worth it to walk around in the fields.
It was cool to look out in the fields and see the rows of different colors. It was almost like a rainbow with the different strips of color in the fields.
I made sure to take some close up shots of the tulips in addition to the shots with the unbelievably full fields of tulips. There was also a field of daffodils towards the back that made some wonderful close up shots also. One of the shots I love is the one with the yellow tulip amongst a group of red tulips. This contrasted wonderfully!
After we were done looking at the fields, I went to check out some old machinery that they had on the outskirts, the windmill and a live musician that they had outside of one of the tents there. I also loved seeing how many families were out enjoying the sun and tulip fest!
If you're in the Portland, OR area, I HIGHLY recommend that you come out and check out this festival before all of the color is gone for the year. While it's a little muddy, bring your boots and wander the fields because it is worth it!!
