University of Washington Football Spring Preview

College football is here! Many of the universities around the nation currently have their spring football games going on and UW was close to follow hosting their Spring Preview in Husky Stadium.

The event kicked off behind Husky Stadium in the practice fields. Here, the UW Marching Band performed prior to the Spring Preview kicking off and the UW cheer team joined them. There were events set up for kids to participate in such as traditional football drills  like high-knee steps, 40-yard dashes and practicing with the tackling dummy.

One thing I was most excited was being in Husky Stadium with little to no people there to get some photos of the stadium.

Soon after, the football team and Coach Petersen came out onto the field to get started with some drills.

The scrimmage got underway soon after and that's when there was some real action!!

After the game, Petersen gathered the team to give a final talk before the spring training wrapped up and they wait until this summer and gear up for the regular 2015-2016 season.
